    Good Headphones, But Beware of Playback Device June 19, 2013

    I have been using a set of Aftershokz Bluez for the better part of a week. The sound quality is at least as good as I expected, Bluetooth pairing is extremely easy, and they actually stay more consistently in place while also wearing sunglasses.

    However, be aware of the wide range of signal quality from different playback devices. With our Galaxy S3’s, the signal will generally drop out completely if I move my hand in front of the phone while wearing the headphones or carry the phone in an in-frame bike bag.

    This result, though, is not the same with all devices. I tested on a number of other Bluetooth players and found the following signal qualities:

    Samsung Galaxy S3: terrible
    BlackBerry Bold: poor
    Samsung Galaxy S1: marginal
    Google Nexus 4: good
    Apple iPod Nano 7th Gen: great

    As such, please consider the playback device to be used when purchasing these headphones. Not all Bluetooth is created equal.

    I am a delivery driver not going to mention the name and do not wear brown have to say after purchasing maybe 30-40 ish headsets to accommodate my hearing aids, all day comfort and good battery life, After Shokz reigns superior. As a delivery driver you need to be able to hear everything around you including sirens, pedestrians, traffic, and DOGS! That is all possible with bone conduction. The price point is extremely competitive as well. I have purchased many, many Bluetooth units in the past 15 or so years and never been this happy with a headset. Thanks a MILLION!!!!

    This bluetooth headset is amazing.  I am completely deaf in one ear and I can now hear perfectly on phone calls or just listening to the music/radio on my phone.  The headset is comfortable, easy to navigate and the band in the back is adjustable so the headset stays in place.  I tell everyone I know about them.  Thank you, Aftershokz...you changed my life.

    Great with hearing protection May 15, 2013

    I was looking for a bluetooth headphones that would provide hearing protection while mowing and working in the shop.  Nothing really fit the bill at a reasonable price until I discovered AfterShokz Bluez.  They work very well with band style hearing protection (with foam tips).  Actually the hearing protection makes the AfterShokz Bluez sound even better and provides the hearing protection I need.  Great product!!

    I wasn't sure what to expect, it seemed like a good idea, but I was waiting for the bluetooth model.

    This is a very high-quality product and it exceeds my expectations in every way; comfort, style, sound quality, functionality and battery-life.

    I am blind so listening to music while walking just isn't safe -- until now! I now feel like my life has a soundtrack! :)
